School tests - Creative writing and biology

This week, I had two big tests—one in creative writing and the other in biology. My creative writing test was a bit tricky, and I ended up with a C. After reviewing my work, I realised why—too many repetitive words and a few grammar mistakes. But I learned that if I focus on synonyms and better word choices, I can improve next time! My biology test went okay, and I’m feeling good about my results, even though I haven’t gotten them back yet.

Rugby challenges and lessons

On Wednesday, I played rugby for the B team, and it was a tough match! There were some dirty plays, like when I got high-tackled, but I managed to push through and keep running. I even almost scored a try, but they pushed me out of bounds. Despite the rough play, I’m happy with how I did, and I’m getting more comfortable with the rotation system between the A and B teams.

Robotics competition excitement

The highlight of my weekend is the robotics competition! I’ve been looking forward to it all week, and it’s happening tomorrow. Our team has been preparing for weeks, and I can’t wait to see how we do. Even if we don’t win, I know we’ll learn a lot from the other teams and have a great time.
