Hey everyone! Guess what? Last Friday was super cool because we had our Gala Spring Concert at the Warwick Arts Centre. It's this big thing we do every two years where kids from 7 to 18 years old get together to sing, play instruments, and have a blast!

The opening act

We started off with a bang by playing "We Will Rock You" by Queen. Everyone was stomping and clapping along - it was epic! Then, we met our hosts for the night. One was super funny, always cracking dad jokes and making us laugh. The other host was really elegant and made sure everyone was having a great time.

A musical journey

Next, the orchestra played "In the Hall of the Mountain King." It's a cool story about a boy trying to meet his true love, but the Mountain King is like, "No way!" It gave me the shivers because it was so suspenseful.

Then, this special song called "Can You Hear Me?" It was about a deaf boy asking if people could hear him. The choirs even learned some sign language for it! I wasn't in that choir, so I watched from my seat, and it was so beautiful and made me think a lot.

We listened to more music, and then there was "Unstoppable," where some kids sang solos while the rest of us sang in harmony. It was easier than the other songs, but still super fun. After that, we had a break, and I chatted with my friends about how cool the concert was so far.

The grand finale

When we came back, we sang "Believe," and it was awesome because we got to sing lots of "oooo's" and "ahhh's," and it felt like we were part of something big. Then, some drummers played amazing beats, and we all felt like dancing!

The best part was ending with songs by the Beach Boys. We went from summer vibes to chill autumn tunes, which was the perfect way to finish the concert.
